"Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar : The Jew brought to the Prophet a man and a woman from amongst them who have committed (adultery) illegal sexual intercourse. "There is consensus amongst the Ulama of all four schools of thought (Mazaahib), that it is obligatory upon women to cover their faces when fitnah and evil is apprehended. There is no doubt of the widespread fitnah and prevalent evil nowadays.
